DonationsDonations & Sponsors are needed
to bring the IHF to our area in July
The Iron Heritage Committee works tirelessly throughout the year to bring a festival full of music, events, artisans, tours and more, celebrating the heritage and history of our area. On Oct 8, 1845, the first T-rail in America was rolled out at the Montour Iron Works, the largest iron manufacturing plant in the United States. The T-rail made it possible for Pennsylvania and America to become the leader in the industrial revolution. This festival is a celebration of America's ingenuity and foresight and is of interest for all of our Nation's citizens!
Our group of volunteers who form the steering committee work quite hard all year long to bring the best edu-tainment to central Pennsylvania, but we could not do it without our wonderful sponsors and friends who contribute to help make this the best festival throughout the area. Traditionally we bring over 100 events to Danville each festival with only 5 or 6 paid events thanks to the donations we receive. We do this by raising funds in our Holiday House tour each Christmas season, merchandise sales in the IHF Company Store and seeking grants. Our biggest contributors are you, our friends of the IHF. Whether your donation is $10 or $1000 and anywhere in-between, the festival depends on your generosity to continue this great Iron Heritage Festival.
The IHF is a non-profit organization (501c3) and receipts will be sent to you upon request for tax purposes.
Please consider the IHF in your charitable contributions this year, it truly can not happen with out your help.
